Organic Natural Dye Kit for Linen
Add natural, Organic, chemical-free colour to a metre of gorgeous lightweight Linen.
A very easy beginners project for natural dyeing, and the perfect gift too!
No need to scour (deeply clean) or mordant (add a type-of ‘glue’), we have prepared the fabric for you. Simply make a ‘tea’ with the included dyes, strain the plant material - and add your fabric! It couldn’t be more simple.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need a large pan to dye the metre of cloth in one go. At least 5 litres. If you don’t have a large pan, check out the Organic Bundle Dye Kit or the Dye your own knickers Kit.
HOW TO ORDER: Choose a colour from our natural dye plant library pic, which are all grown Organically, here on the farm in Devon. PLEASE NOTE not all are available year-round. Our current availability is below:

Our farming systems mean that we improve the soil we work on, and help people with additional needs to reach employment through training and work support on-site.
Kit contains:
70g of your chosen Organic dye plants, grown by us
1m of prepared (scoured and mordanted) light-weight Linen, 117cm wide (this linen is not Organic but it is made using GOTS certified thread by a women’s weaving collective in Kerala, India)
Detailed instructions
These packs are hand packed by us and our trainees in cardboard boxes, compostable paper packaging and sealed with compostable labels.
